“Galit Levi” was founded in 1994 and specializes in the design of high-fashion bridal gowns, evening clothes and assorted fashion accessories that enable customers to be uniquely fashionable. Over the years, over twenty thousand brides have worn gorgeous dresses created by Galit Levi. The innovative sewing method created by Levi sculpts the female body. Her corsets contain over 120 bones to increase or decrease the bust, depending on customer requirements.

A team of talented seamstresses specializing in Galit Levi’s sewing method attract customers from around the world. In 2004 the brand expanded beyond the borders of Israel, participating in many fashion shows. Exporting to international fashion capitols, Galit Levi’s designs landed in boutiques and upscale department stores in Europe, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, and in the prestigious

Harrods and ‘Harvey Nichols’ in the U.S. Also, Levi operates a buyer’s boutique bridal showroom in New York, and an evening gown shop in Los Angeles.

In 2006, the Galit Levi brand extended to bathing suits, creating a prestigious line of swimwear under the name “Galit Levi Beach Couture”. Today, this brand holds 20% of the Israeli women’s swimsuit market, with over 250 points of sale in large chain stores such as Aphrodite and Hamashbir, and also outside of Israel such as in Greece, Turkey and many more. Successful sales have been ongoing for five seasons for this new swimsuit line.

In 2006 Levi was crowned “Israel’s No.1 women’s clothing designer” on behalf of Israel’s leading daily newspaper, Yediot Aharonot, based on public opinion of women aged 18-45. Survey data showed that Galit Levi received 38% of the votes. In 2007 she was chosen again, with an overwhelming majority of over 50% of the votes. In 2010 she wins the title for the sixth time in succession.

In 2009 Galit was invited to Uzbekistan by diplomat Gulnara Karimova, daughter of the President of Uzbekistan, to present her special couture collection during a fashion week held by Israeli representatives in Tashkent.

In 2010, Israeli designer Galit Levi and Palestinian designer Jamal Taslaq present a haute couture joint fashion show in Sorrento, Italy. The event was broadcast in Israel and throughout Europe.
